Details

Scott Sixkiller Sinquah represents the Gila River Pima, Hopi/Tewa, Cherokee & Choctaw Nations. Scott was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and has been dancing since the age of two. Not only is Scott a Fancy Dancer, but he is also a two-time World Champion Hoop Dancer. Winning the titles in 2020 and 2023. By age 30, Scott has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, where he has had the honor to share his culture, dances, and songs at music festivals, powwows, educational associations, museums, and art festivals.

Scotts swift dance moves and showmanship have led him to perform on stage with talented musicians at some of the most energetic and lively shows. Like the New York's Grassroots Music Festival, Montreal's National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration, and New Orleans Jazz Festival.

Scott looks forward to carrying on the tradition with his young son, Sonny and to engrave the importance of celebrating who we are as Indigenous peoples. While Scott enjoys traveling, performing, and sharing his dance and culture, his main message to the world is that Indigenous music, dance, and culture is alive, vibrant, and strong!
