There are two undergrad scholarship opportunities for you to apply to! 

 

DR. JUAN ANDRADE JR. SCHOLARSHIP FOR YOUNG HISPANIC LEADERS

 

USHLI has awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships and internships to students from disenfranchised communities from coast to coast. Most notably, the Dr. Juan Andrade Jr. Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders seeks to recognize students who share Dr. Andrade’s commitment to servant leadership. Application deadline is November 30, 2023 @ 11:59 PM CT.

Undergrad recipients will receive a non-renewable:

  • $1,000 scholarship for those attending a 4-year institution or $500 for those attending a 2-year institution
  • A complimentary registration to attend the 2024 USHLI National Conference including airfare and lodging

 

Denny’s Hungry For Education

 
    

Denny’s is awarding more than $200,000 in scholarships to high school and college students in the United States and Puerto Rico. Denny’s Hungry for Education scholarship program is awarding deserving high school and college students and helping in the fight against childhood hunger. 22% of U.S. children under age 18 live in poverty and struggle every day with hunger, which impacts their ability to do their best in school. Denny’s HFE scholarship program is partnering with USHLI to award deserving high school and college students for their ideas to help in the fight against childhood hunger.
