Sexual Assault Awareness Month- Documentary Screening

Sexual Assault Awareness Month calls attention to the fact that sexual violence is widespread and impacts every person in the community. SAAM aims to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities.

This month, TIFA will screen The Invisible War, an investigative documentary about the sexual assault epidemic within the US military. An estimated 1 in 3 female veterans and 1 in 100 male veterans in the VA healthcare system report experiencing Military Sexual Trauma.
