This workshop unpacks the differences between "Latino/a/x/e" and "Hispanic" to help individuals
have a better understanding on the different contexts of the terms. We'll explore their origins and
cultural nuances and gain insights into how people prefer to identify, why they exist, and other
terminology widely used in the community. There will also be a professional development session for
open to faculty and staff to learn how to better support Latine students on campus.
