Mission
The purpose of the Student Council for Exceptional Children is to (1) advocate for the educational rights of individuals with disabilities, (2) learn about and advance professional practice and scholarly research, (3) promote diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility, and (4) build networks, partnerships, and communities.

Membership Benefits
All members will be connected with the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) at both the national and state level. Members will receive supports and professional learning around issues in special education.
