More reminders as you plan your Student Organization activities
All Registered Student organizations are required to complete the following:
Complete 2 Student Facing Events or Activities with an educational component open to all students each semester (This can be as little as tabling in the Concourse, just make sure to include that educational piece, call out meetings do not count) These activities must be entered in the events page on your group in MyPNWLife. Attendance must be tracked at these events using the check-in feature on MyPNWLife.
Complete at least 1 student organization meeting per month. (If your organization sends at least 2 officers to Training in August, this will suffice as your August Meeting!) These activities must be entered in the events page on your group in MyPNWLife. Spring Months include January, February, March and April.
RSO Event Approvals in the first two weeks of the semester
Just a reminder that during the first two weeks of the semester, we do not have access to classrooms on Unitime! This is so that the registrar can work directly with faculty on any classroom changes quickly and without hiccups. This does make it difficult to book rooms that are listed as classrooms.
Classrooms will become available in Unitime on January 26th. During this time, we will be able to pivot and schedule your first-choice rooms more easily. For now, we are planning to book CLO and SULB non-classroom spaces as early and often as we can.
If you have questions about this, please email studentlife@pnw.edu
Come explore all the graduate programs that PNW has to offer! Meet with staff, students, and alumni to learn about why you should continue your education. Plus, receive a fee waiver for your graduate programs application!
There will be a Graduate Showcase on Tuesday, February 11, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall. The event is open to all students as well as members of the public.
The showcase will feature tables representing our graduate programs, along with current students, alumni, and faculty available to discuss academic offerings and share their experiences. All attendees will receive an application fee waiver, and refreshments will be provided. This event is a great opportunity for students to explore options for continuing their education at Purdue University Northwest.
