All Things Student Service Fee (SSF)

Hi RSO Officers!

Here is a review of the Student Service Fee, commonly referred to as SSF.  We will review:

How to request SSF on MyPNWLife

SSF Requests generally take up to 2 weeks to complete. If your SSF Request is not complete two weeks prior to your event, there is a chance you will not have the funding for that particular activity or event.

If you change your mind about items submitted on an SSF request and want to purchase something different, a new SSF Request will need to be completed and the old SSF Request Deleted. Please be advised that this will trigger another two weeks for your items to be approved. Please contact the Office of Student Life if you want to purchase different items with your SSF Request. 

SSF REQUESTS ARE NOW UNDER ACCOUNTING BOOK IN MYPNWLIFE

Step 1: Login MyPNWLife

Step 2: Go into your Group Page and select the Money Tab

Step 3: View Accounting Book

Step 4: Click on Payment/Budget Request

Step 5: Fill out the form entirely

Step 6: Let your Advisor know to approve the form!

Please make sure to refer to your Annual SSF Request made by your organization in the previous academic year when making your SSF Request. This Annual Request should be kept in the Files of your Group’s MyPNWLife Page.

Additional SSF Form

The Office of Student Life now has Additional SSF funds that RSO can ask for additional funding for events that groups are hosting. There is a new form that you can complete to receive up to $500 in addition to the funding that you are requesting. You must send in your request at least 4 weeks prior to your event and by the deadline for the SSF Additional Funding Requests.

The deadlines to apply is 12 p.m. on these following dates: January 22nd, February 19th, March 19th, April 16th, & April 30th. Money must be use for the specific event that you are requesting funds for. Unused funds will return to the SSF Additional Funds pool.
