I just wanted to share a course I think some of you might really enjoy. Dr. Robert Hallock teaches a class called Dementia and the Brain, PSY - 49100, which started this past fall. I took it myself, and honestly, it was such a rewarding experience! The material was engaging, the coursework made you think in new ways, and I left the class with a lot of insight into how dementia affects the brain.
Good news! he’s teaching it again in Spring 2026, and there are still a few seats open. If you’re looking for a filler course, want to explore something new, or are just interested in neuroscience and dementia, this class is definitely worth considering.
I highly recommend it! it’s been one of the more interesting classes I’ve taken, Dr. Hallock is a very insightful and talented professor, and I think you’d get a lot out of it too!
