Want to sign up for the Hunger Hike and Need some assistance joining our team?

After Selecting “Register” OR selecting the link for our team: Join the PNW Food Pantry Hunger Hike Team!, Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Scroll until you see a Button that says Join our Team! Select Join our Team.

Step 2: You will be directed to a new page that says, “Register for Hunger Hike!”  Under “How do you want to Participate” select Pantry Agency Staff Team Registration

Step 3: Set a fundraising Goal! Our Teams goal is to raise $1,000 to go directly to purchasing food for our pantry!! If you’d like to help us fundraise you can do so here.  P.S. If you raise $100, you get a free T-Shirt provided by the Food Bank!

Step 4: Select I Agree for the waiver!

Step 5:  Enter the Agency Name “Food Pantry Committee of PNW” and select your T-shirt Size just in case!

Step 6:  Enter your personal Detailed information and Select “Next”

Step 7: You may make an optional donation at this point in the registration process!  Either way, Select “Complete Registration” to finish!

Walk with purpose at our annual Hunger Hike on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Highland High School Athletic Complex! This meaningful event brings together individuals, families, and teams from across the Region to raise awareness and funds for hunger relief. Check-in begins at 9AM and the walk kicks off at 10AM.

Whether you're walking solo or rallying a group of friends, family, or coworkers, your participation helps support the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana and our partner food pantries throughout Lake and Porter counties. Every step taken helps a neighbor in need!

Enjoy a morning filled with music, a kids’ area, breakfast and lunch, and plenty of community spirit. Walkers can enjoy refreshments and family-friendly fun—all while helping to make real strides toward a hunger-free community.

Together, one step at a time, we can feed people today and end hunger tomorrow.
